Where do we go for the summer vacation? This was always very clear to answer. Our first choice is Croatia of course.
We were again looking for a destination, where one can also windsurf and based on the last year experience a small camping house would be preferred.
On Peljesac, just outside of Orebic we found a camp called Nevio, offering mobile homes with wonderful sea views for reasonable prices. With a small upgrade it became a perfect shelter for us two and our little Berry. A big advantage of the mobile home was the proximity to the dog’s beach, where Berry could socialize. Somehow it’s much easier by the sea, where all the dogs are so relaxed.
Keep on the sporty spirit, we made a short trip to nearby Viganj, which is a very popular windsurfing spot. The village is in a good location of the see canal between Peljesac and Korcula, which secures very good wind conditions.
For the second part of our vacation, Miska has found a kind of a Robinzon house in Modrave opposing the Murter island. This modern looking, well equipped house having its private beach was supposed to provide us additional peace and rest with no turists crowds. There were no other tourist, not more using the buoyas in the bay once I secured them, but instead we had a couple of not very nice insect neighbours. First we needed to fight some large wasps, just before we discovered some scorpions, also inside of the house. We stayed till the end anyway, but decided to rather repeat a camping village holiday in the next time.
Ohh yeah, we heared jackal, not far away from the house, which was a nice experience actually. Berry did not care at all.
