We have heard quite some superlatives about the region south from Graz already and as we had both our bikes in the town, it was about the time to go and explore it.
So on Sunday the 26th of April we chose a well rated track of the Kommot app called “Sulm Riverside Path – View of Peter Skoff Vineyards loop from Ehrenhausen”

This almost 50 km (48,4) long track introduced us the famous Austrian wine region.
It was supposed to take approximately 3 hours, but with the elevation of 720 meters gained, we definitely spent more time in there.
And after all Südsteiermark is really quite spectacular. With all the vineyards curving up and down all over the hills, perfectly shaped accompanied by some fine wineries offering various services this is great destination not only for wine lovers.
While Miska had sore muscles in her legs, my ass hurt really badly some next 5 days.
