The Tauplitz ski resort with its 43 kms of slopes, is\nlocated just 250 kms to the west from Vienna. So it takes you some 2 hours and 40\nminutes to drive there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the 2 possible ski starting points, we recommend to\ntake the \u201cGondolbahn\u201d. It is reachable by Tauplitzalmstrasse curling uphill from\nthe village of Mitterndorf. By this gondola you reach the top of Mittersteinbahn\n(1914 m) and can then enjoy the ride down for approx. 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
